Bubble Emission

Jun. 26, 2026

Test Principle

Bubble emission testing is a probabilistic, destructive container closure integrity test method. The sealed package is pressurised and submerged in water or a water-surfactant solution. If a leak is present, escaping gas forms a stream of visible bubbles at the defect site, which can be visually located.
